We are pleased to announce a different slant to our team building events - bushcraft survival. This event is tailored to each team's needs but combines team development activities with the great outdoors and learning bushcraft skills.

Whilst you and your team may not be called upon to light a fire or build a shelter from wood and leaves, but working as a team is essential for survival today. After all economic survival requires flexibility and creativity in using the resources at hand, just as surviving on the resources in nature.

The day begins with working on what you would need as a team to survive for several weeks. Our team developers help the team with the activities required. By the end of the day you will have learnt a lot more about how to get the best out of the team and have fun as a team.

The day is a great way to inspire team working. The courses are interesting, fun and very practical. They are held in a beautiful woodland environment providing a breath of fresh air from the office.

Unlike many other Team Building activities you will have a real learning experience and come away with a sense of achievement. The sessions provide unique opportunities for your team to interact and get to know each other better. They are designed around learning some basic survival skills then working as a team to apply what you've learnt in some fun problem solving exercises and scenarios.

We have set the following objectives for the day:

• Improved their ability to cooperate and work together to solve common goals
• Understanding the power of working as a team
• Getting to know each other better, building trust, and enhancing team performance
• An enjoyable and rewarding learning experience, including shelter building, knots and firelighting

We run this event in conjunction with Wildwood Bushcraft (www.wildwoodbushcraft.com) who are experienced and qualified instructors in the skills of bushcraft.
